Facilities

Campers share a cabin with six to eight other campers and two counselors, depending on age. Cabins are not air conditioned, but well ventilated and situated to catch the breezes of one of our many lakes. Our extensive waterfront includes tubing, boating, fishing, a Tarzan swing and 15 foot high waterslide all under the supervision of certified lifeguards. We have a full service dining hall, an air conditioned recreation hall with pool tables and table tennis, various sport courts, a swimming pool-separate from the waterfront, health center and registered nurse, a stable and riding arena and two thousand acres of property for trail rides, hikes and the occasional overnight campout.

Sign Up For Horse Back Riding Lessons is April 4th at the Camp office.

We run in 6 month sessions, that is enough time for a beginner who rides on a weekly basis to learn skills and pick up experience

Classes will be once a week in small group sessions, times and groups will be during registration and will take into context parent wishes and schedules.

The cost for the six month session is $1,200, you may pay out by the month. If you have a horse great, if not we have both horse and tack.

Summer Day Camp

Camper Fees: Fees including taxes are $125.00 per camper, per week. Payable before the weekly session begins.

Transportation: You may drop off your child at Camp Langston beginning each morning at 7:30 a.m., pick up is in the afternoon between 5-5:30 p.m.

Meals: Your child will receive hot lunch and breakfast each day. Camp days are full of activities as chil-dren learn new thing, make new friends and have new adventures.

Activities include : Horseback Riding, Archery, Swimming, Arts and Crafts, Sports, Drama, Music, Fishing , Hiking, Outdoor Exploration, Dance and much, much more.
All equipment and supplies are provided and activities are carefully supervised. On request, dependent on space , you may ask for your child to spend the night in order to experience a special activity, spend time with new friends or simply out of curiosity to see what goes on after the leave each day.

Day Camp Ages: 5-12 years old. Each week will begin on Monday and end on Friday; each day beings at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 5:30 a.m. (drop off is between 7:30-8:00 and pick up is between 5:00– 5:30).

Breakfast, Lunch and healthy snacks are provid-ed during the day, campers may also but snacks from the canteen.

Day Campers will experience many of the same activities and programs as residential campers in addition to many of their own special activities.

 

July 11-29 | Swim Lessons

Summer Swim Lessons

Swimming not only saves lives, it builds self-confidence and develops the whole person. Classes are divided into ability groups and trained instructors emphasize personal safety, swimming skills, endurance and social skills while guiding students with praise and encouragement.

Duration: Each lesson is 1 hour long and done in small groups of no more than 5 students under the supervision of a certified and qualified lifeguard.

Fees: The course is for a total of 15 lessons, over 5 weeks for a total of $150.00.

Age: Designed for school age children, these classes teach children a range of skills beginning with basic water acclimation to advanced stroke development. Classes are broken out by swim skill lever with a class ratio of 1:5.

Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited .

Residential Campers and Day Campers may choose the swim lesson option for afternoon activity at no extra cost.
